What the charity exists to do
Alive Community Radio (SCIO) is dedicated to serving the community through a variety of charitable purposes, primarily centred around the operation of our community radio station. 1. Advancement of Community Development and Citizenship through the Medium of Community Radio - We strive to foster a stronger, more connected community by providing a platform for local organisations and events to share their news, stories, and activities 2. Advancement of Educational Attainment: We believe in empowering individuals through education and skills development. Alive Community Radio (SCIO) has developed a training academy which offers training and work experience opportunities in all aspects of radio broadcasting, from technical production to on-air presentation. 3. Advancement of Arts, Heritage, Culture, or Science: We recognise the importance of celebrating and preserving the unique cultural identity of our community
