02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Border Kayak and Canoe Club exists to introduce, encourage and develop participation in kayaking and canoeing of people living in the Scottish Borders, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear areas. We provide introductory and developing coaching sessions, river and sea trips and access to kayaks, canoes and the associated equipment. We have several qualified leaders and coaches in the club and actively encourage and financially support club members along the qualification route.
