What the charity exists to do

The charity manages Belhaveb Surf centre to provide facilities that will improve the condition of life for the persons, in particular young people but not exclusively so, for whom the facilities are primarily intended. Classroom activities and workshops i the conservation, protection and improvement of the coastal environment take place on sites. Life saving equipment and coastal water safety education are provided.

Constitutional objectives

The company's objects are: (a) the provision of recreational, sporting and leisure time activities and facilities in the interest of social welfare, these being designed to improve the conditions of life for the persons, in particular young people but not exclusively so, for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. along with the provision of support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. (b) the advancement of public participation in the sport of surfing and other coastal water sports. (c) the advancement of education, environmental protection and environmental improvement, in particular (but without limitation), by provision of classroom activities and workshops in the conservation, protection and improvement of the coastal environment. and (d) the saving of lives, in particular (but without limitation) by provision of first aid training and coastal water safety education.
