02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Grace Church Family exists to advance the Christian faith and to relieve poverty and hardship across West Aberdeenshire. We do this by creating spaces where people can explore faith, grow spiritually, and find community through Sunday services, small groups, pastoral care and teaching. Alongside this, our compassion work supports individuals and families facing financial or practical need. Through Deeside Compassion we run the Restart Social Supermarket, CAP LifeSkills, a CAP Debt Centre, wellbeing groups, hardship and fuel grants, and practical support such as food, vouchers and household items. Our volunteers and staff work closely with local partners to provide dignified, person-centred help. We also equip our church community to share faith and serve others in everyday life, ensuring our activities reflect our commitment to faith, compassion and outreach.
