To advance public participation in sport within the community of Ardrossan, through the development and maintaining of sports and other facilities in Ardrossan. 'We are active in the community pertaining to postcode area KA22 and defined by in our Articles of Association. We continue to manage a community gym on the site of a derelict children’s home. ACSH resurrected the facility, transforming it into an important community asset. We used funding funding secured from North Ayrshire Venture, North Ayrshire Council's Community Investment Fund and the National Lottery to sustain the employment of a Manager and 3 part time coaches. We continued to operate the community gym with membership increasing in number to 650 as well as doing outreach workshops.
