What the charity exists to do

AHAC have been serving their local community helping anyone in housing need since 1986. Providing type III National Standards Accredited Advice and complementary Housing Support service for over 20 years. • Empowering people to take control of their housing situation to improve positive outcome while alleviating poverty • Improving health and wellbeing by relieving associated stress, anxiety and trauma through reducing homelessness through positive intervention and encouragement Services: Type I, II and III Accredited Housing Information, Advice and Advocacy (South Ayrshire) Prison Housing Advice (East & South Ayrshire) I’M IN! Casework & Tribunal Representation Service (East & South Ayrshire) Mental Health and Wellbeing Caseworker (South Ayrshire) Tenure Sustainment (Crisis Homeless Prevention Housing Support Service)(South Ayrshire) Each service has directly evolved to meet changing service user needs/expectations to promote social justice, housing and human rights
