02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our Charity is set up to be a local Church that meets the Spiritual and Physical needs of our congregation. We meet weekly for Praise and Worship of our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ and hear from the Teachings from Gods Word The Bible. We have a Children's & Youth Ministry that reach our Children & Young People. We have monthly Prayer Meeting and on-line Communion has continued since lockdown. In addition to this we have various international speakers and conferences throughout the year that is open to all. A full overview of our activities are recorded in our Trustees Report attached.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of religion: To spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and to meet together with people of like mind for praise, worship and bible study and for the preaching and teaching of the whole counsel of God, as contained in His inspired word, the Bible. To seek to serve the needs of the community in a manner befitting the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Belief: We adhere to the Apostles Creed and we believe that the Bible is the word of God and is sufficient for all teaching and doctrine. 4.2 The provision of recreational facilities and activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the local community. 4.3 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
