02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Paying school fees and provide uniform and school materials for secondary school students, provide teaching materials for various primary schools. Pay for college courses, university and tertiary education courses, we build and renovate Community Based Children's Centres, drill boreholes, set up Agribusinesses for various groups. We provide porridge for the children in 3 nurseries 5 days a week, feed Street Kids 3 times per week. We provide football kit, footballs, and other donated goods sent by container. We build toilets and changing rooms in schools. We provide pigs for people to breed which is a pass-on programme.

4 The organisation's purposes are: The prevention or relief of poverty - by working with local communities in northern Malawi to facilitate the development of strategies designed to raise income for the communities which they can apply to their needs. by working with small businesses in northern Malawi to create employment and income. by sending donated goods from Scotland to meet specific and general needs by supplying teaching materials for community nurseries and schools. To provide school fees for secondary education and to provide sports equipment for the youth to promote behaviour change.
