02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The organisation's purpose is to advance citizenship, community involvement, education and training by providing resources and facilities to research, produce and broadcast podcast material, relevant to and celebrating the people, places and events which shape the island communities of Islay and Jura, We Identify and support suitable training in the production and broadcast of podcast material to volunteers, and we encourage and support collaborations to ensure a broad participation by the local community in the production and broadcast of these podcasts which will exist as a growing legacy for the community.

Constitutional objectives

Purposes 4 The organisation's purposes are to advance citizenship, community involvement, education and training by: 4.1 providing resources and facilities to research, produce and broadcast podcast material, relevant to and concerning the communities of, the islands of Islay and Jura. 4.2 to identify and support suitable training in the production and broadcast of podcast material. 4.3 to encourage and support collaboration with other organisations to ensure as wide a participation by the local community in the production and broadcast of these podcasts.
