Constitutional objectives

The objects of the CIO are to promote and protect the mental health of those working in the medical profession, and their families, throughout England and Wales, primarily (but not exclusively) by: 1) Providing information to doctors, health care professionals, members of the public and organisational leaders to raise awareness and encourage measures that might prevent workplace stress, burn-out and suicide. 2) Providing information on available support and resources to help those affected by workplace stress, burnout and suicide.
