Constitutional objectives

1.1 The advancement of citizenship or community development (including rural or urban regeneration). 1.2 In furtherance of the aforementioned charitable purpose, Friends of Househill Park SCIO, will promote and coordinate recreational activities and opportunities within Househill Park, this will involve promoting the Park as a facility for recreation, to benefit physical & mental health, fitness and well-being of local residents. 1.3 Recruit, encourage and coordinate local volunteers to support the work of the Friends of Househill Park SCIO, through the promotion of community involvement, so as to ensure local people are actively involved in volunteering in both environmental improvement/physical regeneration and practical conservation. 1.4 Design and coordinate public meetings, relevant training opportunities and community events. 1.5 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement. 1.6 In furtherance of the aforementioned charitable purpose, Friends of Househill Park SCIO, will educate, encourage and support the local population in environmental practice by working with statutory and non-statutory agencies, with the intention of conserving, preserving and where appropriate developing the green space that is Househill Park. 1.7 Research and raise awareness of the history of Househill Park, and the history and heritage of the local area.
