02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The organisation has been formed to benefit the community of the former East Nairnshire Community Council area. To advance citizenship or community development, including rural regeneration. To improve the quality of life, health, well-being and independence and to reduce social isolation of residents by reason of age, ill-health, disability or social circumstances. To advance environmental protection or improvement, including maintenance, improvement or provision of environmental amenities, for the Community and the public. We do this by encouraging community projects which fulfil the criteria set out in the constitution. The Trustees meet approximately every 3 months to consider applications.
