02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity is set up to manage a community centre, taking regular lets and one off lets . Our charges are very reasonable and we have reduced rates for Children, OAP's and special needs. We have partnered with a community worker and various other active groups in the area. We have a diverse list of regular lets and have been sucessful in obtaining grants and funds to make the hall fit for purpose. Our trustees and committee members are all volunteers and our hope is that in the future we will be able to build up enough business to be able to employ a full time manager.

Constitutional objectives
DEFINITION OF COMMUNITY AND PURPOSES 4 The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Bainsford, Langlees and New Carron, (the 'Community'), with the following purposes (the 'Purposes'): 4.1 The advancement of community development through maintaining and managing the community hall as a community group located in David's Loan, Bainsford . and 4.2 the provision and organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the community.
