02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to manage Holywood Village Hall for the benefit principally of the people of Holywood parish. We employ a hall keeper who manages the bookings, both private and group. The hall keeper also keeps the hall clean and tidy. We hold a small number of community events, e.g., around Christmas (carol singing and lights switch on) and Easter. The groups who use the hall include, e.g., Historical Dancers, Yoga group, Craft Club, gentle movement group, tai chi and some music groups.
