02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Blueskate Peterhead is a community-led charity established to promote skateboarding and active lifestyles for people of all ages and abilities in Peterhead and the surrounding area. We aim to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people and the wider community can develop skills, build confidence, and connect through skateboarding. We do this by organising community events, coaching sessions, and fundraising activities to support facilities and equipment. In 2024, we launched our own website, enabling us to sell merchandise and share updates, helping us reach a wider audience and bring our community together.
