02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Objects of the Charity are to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement of beliefs for the benefit in the United Kingdom and in such other parts of the world as the trustees may think fit from time to time. The Charity continues to hold successful meetings through the year in which individuals were equipped and educated on the principles and doctrines of the Christian faith. Several conferences were also held during the year, attracting individuals from across the local community. These events contributed positively to the charity’s objectives by supporting, engaging and assisting members of the community.

Constitutional objectives
The principle purpose of the church (RCCG Tabernacle of Grace Musselburgh) is to worship and serve God according to our Christian faith. To advance Christianity and its values among our members, community and the world at large. To glorify God with our lives by following the lifestyle of our Lord Jesus Christ. To share the love of God with the community of Musselburgh. Thereby fulfilling the greatest commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
