What the charity exists to do
The objectives are to manage community land and associated assets for the benefit of the people of Edzell Woods Community following the principals of sustainable development, which meets the needs of the present residents without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

Constitutional objectives
The company's objects are:- To manage community land and associated assets for the benefit of the people of Edzell Woods community following the principles of sustainable development, which meets the needs of the present residents without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. To advance community development, including urban or rural regeneration, following the principles of sustainable development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. To provide, or assist in providing, recreational facilities, and/or organising recreational activities, which will be available to members of the public at large with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people of Edzell Woods. This to include the provision of a ‘community-hub’ for all owners and residents of Edzell Woods to promote advancement of education, health, recreational activities with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. Community Hub to deliver a variety of classes and workshops, meeting space for local groups including but not limited to Mother and Toddler, fitness, education, advice and support groups.
