What the charity exists to do

The SCIO has been set up to replace the exisitng charity - Kilmun Hall and Recreation Association. There has been difficulty i n setting up a new business account, but that will be resolved in the next month or so, and it is envisaged that it will be in operation for the new financial year.

4 The organisations purposes are: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and 4.2 The advancement of citizenship or community development, by Providing a community facility for the use of all the residents in the district of Kilmun and the surrounding area, and by supporting and assisting local organisations who wish to use the hall for social, educational and recreational purposes
