What the charity exists to do
Trauma Informed Parenting exists to help families, carers and professionals understand the impact of trauma and neurodivergence through a compassionate, Trauma-informed approach. We provide practical tools, education and support that strengthen relationships, reduce blame and shame, and promote healing through connection, co-regulation and understanding. Our aim is to empower adults to create safe, nurturing environments where families can thrive, changing generational patterns of dysfunction and creating healthier futures for children.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: (j) The advancement of human rights conflict resolution and reconciliation -to promote repair and connection in relationships and reduce the fight and flight response in previously reactive children. To teach parents to de-escalate potentially explosive interactions. (n)The relief of those in need-to support placements in crisis and prevent families breaking down. To support parents to better support children suffering from trauma. To build a safe and loving environment for traumatised children to learn to heal.
