To raise small funds to provide grants to assist the maintenance of historic Scottish Fishing vessels used for community purposes

Constitutional objectives

4. The organisation's purpose is the advancement of heritage In furtherance of this overriding purpose, the SCIO will: 4.1 raise funds to support owners of Historic Fishing Vessels who use them for community and educational benefit to enable them to meet annual maintenance and running costs ensuring these vessels are not lost to the nation for future generations. 4.2 provide Core Support and Small Grants to organisations, trusts and individuals operating Historic Fishing Vessels 4.3 provide Small Grants to Community event organisers to enable Historic fishing Vessels to appear at the event 4.4 advise, enable and encourage community ownership and operation of Historic Fishing vessels.
