What the charity exists to do

EcoArt connects communities with art and crafts that support climate and social justice. By hosting participatory art projects, skill sharing opportunities, upcycling workshops, repair cafes, swaps, surplus food redistribution, a community garden, wellbeing groups and climate cafes, commissioned environmental art and residencies, they spark climate conversation, challenge perspectives, foster collective environmental action and gently nudge behavioural change.

Constitutional objectives

1. The advancement of environmental protection or improvement for public benefit by: a) advancing reductions in: consumption. waste. plastic use. demand for virgin resources. greenhouse gas emissions. and energy use. b) the promotion of sustainable development including raising awareness on environmental issues and creating action on climate change. All to be achieved by connecting people with art and creative pursuits that encourage a more environmentally conscious and sustainable lifestyle. 2. To promote, establish, operate and/or support other similar schemes, organisations, individuals and initiatives which are in furtherance of the charitable purposes.
