Constitutional objectives
Purposes 4 SEC's purpose is the advancement of the Christian faith, and in furtherance of this: 4.1 to celebrate and promote the Christian faith, primarily in Strathaven and the surrounding area and also throughout Scotland and beyond, by all means consistent with the teachings of the Christian Bible. 4.2 to provide education and equipping in Christian beliefs and life choices to SEC members and attendees, the local community and beyond. 4.3 to provide spiritual, emotional and practical support to those in need, including SEC members and attendees, people within our community and beyond. 4.4 to provide support (including financial) to individuals and agencies engaged in Christian ministries, poverty relief and educational development. 4.5 to support and advance local community development and similar charitable purposes insofar as such purposes are not inconsistent with those set out above in clauses 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.
