02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity has been formed to benefit all who are interested in the parish of Carsphairn, South West Scotland and its surrounding area, with the following purposes: the advancement of the arts, heritage and culture and the advancement of education. We provide exhibitions in the Heritage Centre, newsletters, have an extensive digital archive of documents, photos and articles relating to the history of the parish. At present preparations are being made for an archaeological dig.
