02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity is set up to support residents of the Tillydrone area of Aberdeen, a key regeneration area. We provide advocacy and support around social security and other issues, run a busy foodbank, offer internet, phone and laundry facilities, work with a range of partner organisations including Adult Social Work, Justice Social Work, Family Social Work and Voiceability Scotland to ensure best possible outcomes for our service users. We hold adult learning groups, have outdoor space and offer complementary health therapies twice a week. Anyone can visit the Community Flat and find a safe, friendly space where service users have a community room where they can use computers, have tea and coffee and find companionship.
