Constitutional objectives
4.1 The Company has been formed to benefit the community of Alyth, Perth and Kinross (the “Community”) with the following objectives: a. the advancement of citizenship or community development. b. promote and support religion. c. promote education, awareness and citizenship. in particular promote opportunities for learning for the benefit of the general public, including skills which will assist participants in obtaining paid employment. d. improve the environment in Alyth through the provision, maintenance and/or improvement of public open space, amenities and other environmental and regeneration projects (subject to appropriate safeguards to ensure that the public benefit so arising clearly outweighs any private benefit thereby conferred on private owners. e. provide within Alyth recreational facilities or organize activities, including arts and/or culture, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. f. develop and engage in anti-poverty initiatives and improve the general wellbeing and health of the community. and g. promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes and projects of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community.
