Constitutional objectives

7.1 The SCIO will promote, advance and further its Charitable purposes, by operating as a 'fundraising' and 'grant giving' charity which will support financially (and otherwise) children, young people and children's charitable and similar organisations providing public benefit in the local government area of Fife, the United Kingdom and elsewhere, with a primary focus on Fife. 7.2 For the purposes of the 2005 Act the following charitable purposes are the charitable purposes identified as applicable from section 7 of the 2005 Act:- 7.2.1 the advancement of education. 7.2.2 the advancement of health. 7.2.3 the advancement of citizenship or community development. 7.2.4 the advancement of arts, heritage, culture or science. 7.2.5 the advancement of public participation in sport. 7.2.6 the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. and 7.2.7 any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
