Constitutional objectives

4. The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of players and supporters of the game of tennis who are resident in the town of Kirkcudbright and the surrounding area or who are occasional visitors to Kirkcudbright and the surrounding area (the 'Community'), with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. The Purposes of the Organisation are: 4.1 a. to provide recreational facilities for the benefit of the Community by providing and maintaining the physical infrastructure required for the game of tennis, and b. to promote and develop participation in the game of tennis by means of organising recreational activities for the benefit of all members of the Community. 4.2 To improve the quality of life for all members of the Community by participation in sporting activity. 4.3 To make a positive contribution to the health and well-being of all members of the Community including children, senior citizens and individuals suffering physical or mental impairment.
