What the charity exists to do

The organisations purpose are the advancement of education through participation in a variety of learning opportunities for example outdoor education courses, information technology skills, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Dynamic youth awards and saltire award scheme. The advancement of health to use issue-based youth work as informal learning to explore and discuss a wide variety of issues that affect young people.

Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The Advancement of Education through participation in a variety of learning opportunities for example outdoor education courses, information technology skills and software training, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Dynamic Youth Awards and Saltire Award Scheme. These opportunities will help members gain new qualifications and therefore build their social capital and prepare them for future working life. 4.2 The Advancement of Health to use issue-based youth work as an opportunity to explore and discuss a wide variety of health issues that affect young people. This includes healthy eating, sexual health, poverty, money management, peer pressure, mental health, body image and a variety of fitness programmes. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the objects of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended 4.4 Provide Services for 5-25years.
