Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are: * To alleviate the stress of anyone in the community who is living in difficult circumstances for whatever reason. * To accommodate, support, counsel and empower people, regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, class, caste, religion, belief, sex, gender, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, health or other status, to live freely and without persecution. * To provide suitable and discreet refuge accommodation for individuals (and their children, where necessary) who have had to leave their home under difficult circumstances, thereby allowing a safe and comfortable space for them in which to assess their situation with support and counselling for however long it is needed. * To mediate wherever necessary and appropriate to prevent the necessity for an individual to have to leave their home. * To help people transition into permanent housing when their situation at home becomes untenable for whatever reason. * To work in partnership with relevant statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure the best possible outcome for anyone who is experiencing or has experienced persecution, bullying, violence or abuse in or around their home.
