02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
OutLET is a social enterprise creating opportunities for children, young people, adults, families and communities to connect with nature, build confidence and wellbeing, develop skills and experience a sense of belonging. We provide inclusive nature-based programmes, outdoor learning, alternative education, play opportunities and training across Central Scotland. Our work is particularly focused on people who face barriers to accessing opportunities, education, relationships or support.

Constitutional objectives
5.1 The company is set up with entirely charitable purposes and its objects are: i. The advancement of education by the provision on Outdoor Play, Forest School and Training. ii. The advancement of Community Development through the provision of community based outdoor events and volunteering opportunities for people who would benefit from improved skills and confidence. and iii. The advancement of health for children, young people and adults through the provision on long term Forest School programmes and volunteering opportunities.
