02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Linlithgow Rugby Club is a community rugby club whereby it encourages members of the public from all age groups to come along and participate in training and playing rugby. In addition to this, we employ 2 development officers in conjunction with Scottish Rugby and run 'School of Rugby' at Linlithgow Academy and also outreach programmes with Armadale Academy and South Queensferry. We seek to encourage people from all walks of life to come along and try the sport with a view to joining an age appropriate team.

* the advancement of public participation in Sport, in particular: o to promote the practice, play and development of Rugby Football. o to encourage public participation in the sport of Rugby Football by all groups within the community. * the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, to support the development of rugby football and related physical activities with the object of improving the conditions of life, the club will encourage members of the general public, of all ages to take part in the activities offered by the Club including, but not exclusively, fitness and leisure activities
