02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We exist to promote music and the arts via the medium of Brass Band. We provide free tuition within the band, and try to promote a friendly atmosphere where we can enjoy music, with the opportunity to engage with people of all ages. Practices are held weekly, with additional practices should the need arise. We play at a variety of events throughout the year, some as fund-raisers for ourselves, and some to help other organisations raise funds.

Constitutional objectives
2. The association's objects are: (a) The promotion of the Arts through the playing of brass band music (b) To promote musical skills, and an appreciation of music (c) To hold practices generally once a week, but with additional practices as and when necessary. (d) To perform music for the benefit of the community as a whole.
