02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity manages and maintains its community assets and facilities, including Glenbuchat Hall, Bothy and the surrounding land, for the benefit of the residents of Glenbuchat and the surrounding area. To pursue the charity’s aim and objectives, the charity organises, promotes and encourages educational, cultural and leisure activities with Spring Fayres, pop-up cafés, an annual week-long NEOS exhibition, and regular music events. The charity also leases its facilities for private events. It is also maintaining the facilities to function as a resilience hub. The charity encourages and develops the traditions, culture and heritage of Glenbuchat and the surrounding area by providing facilities and supporting a local heritage group and other weekly local interest groups The charity respects, preserves and improves the natural and built environment of Glenbuchat by developing the ground’s natural habitats by, e.g. planting trees, and by liaising with relevant external bodies suc
