Constitutional objectives

2. The company's objects are to promote any charitable purposes for the public benefit in North and West Sutherland and surrounding districts (“the area of local benefit”) by: The advancement of citizenship or community development (including rural or urban regeneration and promotion of civic responsibility, volunteering, the voluntary sector or the effectiveness or efficiency of charities To provide or assist in the provision of community transport, with the object of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants both young and old, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage of North West Sutherland. Providing a transport service to groups most affected and disadvantaged living in a remote rural area, i.e. the elderly and youths who cannot drive to visit friends and socialise or go to sporting/entertainment events Where the objects are being promoted outwith the defined area of local benefit the Company may work with organisations with similar aims but shall at all times adhere to the agreed principles of NWCBA.
