02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity provides holistic and collaborative services that free of charge to anyone in Scotland who has experienced psychological trauma. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for trauma survivors by providing a range of services, including therapy, wellbeing groups, personal development training, and opportunities to engage in research that shapes future services and enhances understanding of trauma.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To improve the mental well-being of trauma survivors by providing therapeutic intervention in the form of counselling 4.2 To provide opportunities for trauma survivors to develop new skills through classroom teaching 4.3 To advance the understanding of psychological trauma through research 4.4 To relieve the suffering of trauma survivors by helping individuals to develop coping strategies, build resilience and overcome barriers.
