02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We bring support to communities to benefit all who are bereaved by suicide & those who suffer suicidal thoughts. This is achieved by monthly group meetings & one to one sessions across The Scottish Highlands & Moray. We also operate a 24/7 helpline run by some trustees, family members & selected volunteers.

Constitutional objectives
To provide support to those bereaved by suicide and to those who have/had suicidal thoughts, and to relieve loneliness and isolation within the community. In furtherance of these objects, the SCIO will: provide a monthly 'safe place' meeting, provide regular table games evenings, provide regular breakfast clubs in various locations, provide one to one sessions to supplement existing resource, provide a 24/7 helpline for continuous support, provide a website and facebook page with support and help information across similar agencies.
