02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity provides riding for people with a range of physical and learning disabilities and autism to help develop their motor and social skills, boost confidence, improve communication skills and enhance their quality of life. We use our funds to hire the horses and use the facilities at the Ian Stark Equestrian Centre, Selkirk.

4 The organisations purpose is to promote the objects of the Riding for the Disabled Association incorporating Carriage Driving (Company No 5010395) a charity registered under Charity Number SC039473 ('the Association') by providing disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or to carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Scottish Borders area.
