4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To advance the arts, heritage, culture or science by/through: 4.1.1 Acquiring and/or leasing historic docks and piers on the River Clyde and Firth of Clyde (or elsewhere, as appropriate). 4.1.2 Preserving these historic docks and piers, and improving them so that they can be returned to an operational condition. 4.1.3 Facilitating access for the public to experience the heritage docks and piers and their historical significance.
