Constitutional objectives
The Charity's objects ('Objects') are to advance the education of the public in the subject of engineering (in the context of modern science and technology), evolutionary computation and computer science (the 'Redstone Subjects') and to promote research for the public benefit in all aspects of the subject. and to publish the useful results. In the Objects, 'evolutionary computation' means the sub-field of artificial intelligence which involves the use of evolutionary systems as computational processes for solving complex problems. The Charity has a regular source of private funding available to it and the funding shall be used for the sole purpose of promoting and achieving the Objects.
