02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our charity runs the Village Hall in Aberchirder. It is used by various groups in the community including Guiding, Scouting, Pensioners and Craft groups. It is also available for hire for birthday parties, funeral teas and fundraising events such as coffee mornings and quizzes.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To secure the establishment of a Village Hall for Aberchirder, and 4.2To promote the well being of inhabitants of Aberchirder without the distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions by associating the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and to foster community spirit for the achievement of these and other such objects as may be by law deemed to be charitable.
