02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To safeguard the future of Geilston Garden in Cardross as a National Trust for Scotland garden open to the public. We work with the NTS to maintain Geilston as an NTS owned and managed garden open to the public by helping promote the garden as a visitor attraction. We do through the promotion of events in the garden through the season. We publicise these events and our activities to members and the wider public through our website and social media. We monitor NTS actions relating to the garden in order to help safeguard the longer term viability of the property as part of the NTS portfolio.
