02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To facilitate the delivery of memorial lectures in the area of physics and engineering in medicine. The trust funds an invited lecture at the annual meeting of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine. To award grants to enable physicists and engineers training in medical physics and bioengineering to attend national or international meetings. The trust supports trainees to attend conferences run by the European Federation of Medical Physics, the International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine, and the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
