02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Purchase of the mill buildings and site was completed on 9 January 2023 and, with funding bids having bene successful, repair works to the buildings started soon after. The work is continuing at year end, while information about how the mill worked is also being written up. This is with the aim of having complete restoration of the mill ensuring it will be an important part of our industrial heritage and a valued visitor attraction.

The advancement of environmental protection or improvement of the above.
