Constitutional objectives
4.1 The charity is established for charitable objects and purposes only. 4.2 The object for which the charity is established is the advancement of heritage by giving support to, contributing to, and participating in, (by means both of direct involvement or providing financial support) all of the objects of the Trust, as the Trust may from time to time determine, and specifically (but without limitation) in relation to the buildings and grounds in New Lanark occupied or used by the charity. 4.3 Nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with the 2005 Act.
