Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The community organized to promote the values, culture, community education, economic, social and technological development of all Oromo residing in Scotland. Preserving the Culture of the Oromo people by teaching children and other communities in Scotland 4.2 Encouraging the members and individual into economic and social wellbeing according to the following points. Promote the welfare of Oromo residing in Scotland, mobilize younger generations to engage into economic for the contribution of local development. Empower Oromo people to gain appropriate education and skill, promote unity among the community, facilitate or enable fully integration into the wider community. Facilitate access to the language skills training opportunity, and formal and vocational education and training system. Play a facilitation role in linking the community with local institution to access the training and awareness raising session related with domestic violence, child abuse and other related matters. 4.3 Assist family and individual to alleviate poverty among Oromo Refugees, other individuals and/or families in conditions of need, hardship, or distress, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of advice, counselling, support, hospital and prison visits where requested, training, liaison with other institutions and by other charitable means of relief of poverty.
