02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Weekday Wow Factor creates fun, friendship and fitness for older adults living with and without dementia, and other long-term conditions. We tackle lonliness, isolation and lack of access to transport, leisure opportunities and community activities with our legendary Daytime Discos and Minibus Adventures. We bring movement, music and accessible, inclusive communities to older adults in Scotland.

Constitutional objectives
2.1 The objects of the Company are to carry on activities which benefit the community and in particular (without limitation) to: 2.1.1 To relieve the need of individuals 50 years and over by utilising occupational therapy methods in order to reduce physical and social isolation whilst increasing health and wellbeing. 2.1.2 To provide services, in particular, leisure and recreational activities and widen access to older adults to engage in fun daytime interactions to promote and enable physical, psychological, social and spiritual health and wellbeing, improve quality of life as well as reducing social isolation and loneliness.
