02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to provide and support access to outdoor forest based experiences for children and families in the North east of Scotland and to use nature to support wellbeing and to work therapeutically. To do this we provide one to one and group based sessions, aiming to be as inclusive as possible and overcome obstacles to accessing support and community

Constitutional objectives
To advance the education of people in North-East Scotland by offering opportunities for the development of knowledge and skills in an outdoor woodland setting with a focus on conservation and the appreciation of nature. To promote the health and education of people in North-East Scotland though provision of training, consultancy and support to professionals and organisations. To improve the health, holistic well-being and resilience of individuals and families through provision of inclusive sessions as well as targeted therapeutic interventions outdoors and in other settings. To support the building and maintaining of community, promoting a sense of belonging and reducing isolation and to reconnect with and further the practice of traditional skills.
