Preserve and Promote the rich History & Heritage of the most northerly town on the British mainland. By managing a host of videos and photographs on our Interactive Website. By managing our Facebook page (over 5,000 followers). By preserving parts of Thurso that has an historical interest. By recording and videoing some notable characters from Thurso.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To preserve the character, history and traditions of Caithness in general and the district of Thurso in particular. 4.2 To promote and maintain promote and maintain public interest and participation in such matters. To liaise and co-operate with and assist all bodies with similar interests and pursuits and to affiliate to such national and local bodies where it would be in the interests of the Society to do so. 4.3 To provide members assistance and advise of facilities for research and education in cultural pursuits of the heritage of Caithness in general and the District of Thurso in particular. 4.4 To encourage the publication and dissemination of papers on the heritage of Caithness and the District of Thurso in particular and provide an opportunity and outlet for members to participate actively in such matters. 4.5 To encourage the publication and dissemination of papers on the heritage of Caithness and the District of Thurso in particular and provide an opportunity and outlet for members to participate actively in such matters.
