What the charity exists to do
During the year the SCIO has engaged with professionals and local residents to assist in the environmental protection and improvement within Dougalston and the surrounding areas. This included commissioning reports which were submitted to the local council as part of LoveDougalston’s submission to the East Dunbartonshire Council LDP2 planning consultation process.

Constitutional objectives
4 The company's objects are: 4.1 To advance environmental protection and improvement within Dougalston and the surrounding areas (the 'Community'), in particular (but without limitation) through the conservation and protection of flora and fauna and the protection of green spaces for the public benefit. and 4.2 To advance community development within the Community, in particular (but without limitation) through encouraging and supporting public involvement in the planning and development process, and working with individuals and organisations within the Community to identify and address the needs of the Community.
