What the charity exists to do
We are a community larder based in the Strathmartine area, a place to access food that is surplus, make friends, access additional services, and save money on your bills. Some larders have been set up like your average store. All Community Larders are unique in their own way, “reducing food waste, creating opportunities, engaging with communities”.

Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of community development and promotion of volunteering opportunities. 4.2 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by encouraging the reduction of food waste and recycling of surplus clothing. 4.3 To relieve poverty, particularly among the residents of the for residents of the Strathmartine electoral ward area of Dundee : bounded by Kingsway, Strathmartine Road, Dundee boundary, Harestane Road and Old Glamis Road. Also to include Melfort place and Kilmore Terrace, Trottick, Dundee.
